Retired Rear Admiral James H. Rodman, Jr. is XSITE’s Chief Executive Officer. Admiral Rodman has over 30 years of civilian, Reserve and Active Duty naval experience in the design and development, systems engineering, integration and operations of the national security space constellation. Prior to his retirement in October 2014 he served as the Chief Engineer of Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR, formerly SPAWAR). Prior to his position at NAVWAR, Rear Admiral Rodman served in various assignments in fleet maintenance, ship and weapons systems, and space and network systems operations, and commanded three Navy Reserve units. Throughout his distinguished career with the U.S. Navy, Rear Admiral Rodman has developed a high level of expertise and a deep understanding of the specialized aerospace applications and systems that are critical to national intelligence and defense. Admiral Rodman holds an MS in Technology Management from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School and School of Engineering and Applied Science, a JD with a concentration in Intellectual Property from the Villanova University School of Law, and a BS in Aerospace Engineering from West Virginia University.
